Elizabeth Eguia-Garcia is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Guide to Grants Plus®, a program of the Eguia-Garcia Firm. She graduated from Our Lady of the Lake University with a Bachelor of Arts in English/Communication Arts and from St. Mary's University with a a Master of Arts in English/Communication Studies. She is a graduate of numerous distinguished programs including Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government's Executive Leadership Program, the Center for Creative Leadership's Leadership Development Program, and the National Hispana Leadership Institute's Fellowship Program. She is the Founding Chair of the Board of Directors of Voz de Mujer, Inc. and a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
She has spent most of her career working with organizations who serve highly economically distressed and underserved communities. Elizabeth is a strategic multi-million dollar fundraiser, grant writer and a public relations professional. She possesses over fifteen years of working with non-profits, private and public schools as well as colleges and universities. She has a successful track record of securing the grants and resources necessary in order to advance an organization's mission.
